About Us

Monarch&Co International, M&C International and a group of companies including partner, affiliate and contracted companies, come together collectively in a collaboration headed up and represented by M&C Africa (M&C) – focusing on African development. M&C delivers funding models that work for Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) and Engineering-Procurement-Construction-Management (EPCM) projects that include our funding to address the challenges of Infrastructure Clients.

M&C provides solutions to meet cost and schedule requirements., and project management to governments and clients in diverse industries around the world. For decades, and in some instances centuries, clients have selected M&C and partners as their choice to complete challenging projects in all parts of the world. Depending on client needs and the nature of the project, M&C is able to offer finance on extremely attractive terms for operations through pure debt finance, non-recourse finance and equity participation…or a blend of the these financing options.

The group is run by CEO, James Bowling, a British national that spends much of his time in M&C’s Johannesburg office, South Africa. Bowling views Africa as the opportunity for expansion of their business and M&C’s services and products.

M&C has quickly built a reputation for applying innovative methods and performing precise engineering and construction work. Today, M&C continues to develop and implement innovative solutions for complex project issues in diverse industries, including chemicals and petrochemicals, medical institutions, commercial and institutional (C&I), government and private services, life sciences, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas, power, renewable energy, telecommunications and technology, real estate and transportation infrastructure.
